The concept maquette was created as part of a group exhibition exploring the potentials of speculative architectural design. The concept will be used as a jumping off point for a future film project, hopefully. What are the chances someone funds a project based off a bodega model? A sort of Hot Dog Utopia, I can see the log line now.

“Look at those folks safely tucked away in their 150 story highrise apartments. I think I heard that the top unit there went for $228 Million.”
Bodega Onwer
“It was actualy $233, but whats five to throw around anyway, how many hot dogs would that be Frank?”
Frank McFurter
“Seeing as they sell for a buck a piece, well you tell me. You know I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single person come in or out of that building since the news about the units being sold.”
Bodega Owner
“What do you mean, there’s all those realtors . . .”
Frank McFurter
“Yeah, but they’re just taking pictures, who actually lives in those places, ya know? What if we got our buddy with the crane to peer into those places, what do you think they’ll see?”
Bodega Owner
“I don’t think you’ll want to know.”
Frank McFurter
“Honestly, I think they are empty, I’m willing to bet we could build bodegas and water dog stands up and down the sides of those towers, and they wouldn’t even notice.”
